Whitney Hudson

AIA
Senior Project Architect

Whitney grew up in Berea, Ohio, a small college town outside of Cleveland. While she remains a Browns fan, pursuing a career that consolidated her analytical skills with her love of creating took her to several Universities around the country. Eventually her journey led to a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Virginia.

In the years since, she has worked in both Boston and Charlottesville designing award-winning projects. Rather than focus on a specific project type, she has chosen to concentrate on thoughtful, interesting, and modern designs in a wide variety of programs, including: libraries, museums, multi-family housing, educational facilities, mixed-use, and corporate headquarters. Whitney feels that the most successful project is one where the initial design concepts are strong enough to be used as a touchpoint by the team all the way through to the built work, and she strives to achieve this in every project.

Whitney loves making all manner of things and believes that design is design, from a building to a book, from a logo to a piece of jewelry. When she is not working or creating, she is usually enjoying the outdoors and participating in youth sports with her family.
