Principal | Director of DC Studio
Noah Marble is a Principal at EskewDumezRipple and the Studio Director of our Washington, DC office. During his time with the firm, Noah has had the opportunity to work on many of the studio's most challenging and complex projects across a wide range of building types. These include the Ace Hotel New Orleans, a 1920s Art Deco former furniture store building transformed into a sophisticated destination hotel; the $45 million expansion and renovation to the Bruce Museum of Arts and Science in Greenwich, Connecticut; Teatro Santander, a 1,200 seat flexible theatre in Sao Paulo, Brazil; and the new 215,000-square-foot Center for Developing Entrepreneurs (CODE) in Charlottesville Virginia, a multi-use complex for entrepreneurs, designers, and developers.
A believer in the power of many voices to enhance design outcomes, Noah enjoys collaborating directly with the people who will use, occupy, and inhabit the projects he helps put into the world. He believes architects have a responsibility to their community at all levels and is always looking for ways to get involved outside of traditional architectural practice. Noah served as the facilities board chair of a five school, public K-12 charter network educating over 3,500 students in New Orleans, and he is currently serving as a board member of the DC Public School system’s Chancellor Lewis D. Ferebee’s Parent Advisory Board, and as a review panelist for the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
